~Practical Attitude Reform in Elementary Schools~ Papers

Pediatric Posture Education to Support Future Healthy Life Expectancy ~Practical Posture Reform in Elementary Schools~ Paper Submission. ~Excerpt from the text~ There is still no common understanding of the correct attitude among the people. The definition of good posture is also ambiguous. When it comes to correcting posture, it is not uncommon for postures that are difficult to maintain for tens of minutes, such as the posture of putting the back and head against the wall. This is also due to the fact that there is no place to cultivate posture literacy in the first place. In addition, in clinical settings, there is no end to the number of patients who come to the hospital with indefinite complaints that seem to be caused by these posture problems. In recent years, more and more children are coming to the hospital with problems with posture and gait. From these reasons, it seems that exposing children, their caregivers, and educators to knowledge of posture and movement will contribute to the way they perceive posture and ultimately extend their healthy life expectancy in the future. This time, the authors gave lectures to a total of 564 elementary school students, A.196 (grades 4~6) and B.368 (grades 1~6), focusing on two points: precedented postural adjustment (APAs) and support for neutral posture. In the following sections, I would like to describe these APAs and the need for a neutral attitude, and also introduce the content and reactions of the actual instruction I have given in elementary schools.
