Child attitude check event postscript

7On Sunday, the 18th of the month, we held a children's posture check event.

There were 28 children from 4 to 13 years old! The announcement started four weeks ago, but many people participated. I think this is the result of the fact that many parents are concerned about their children's posture and walking style. The test consisted of walking style analysis (video analysis of walking lanes) and nystagmus testing using vHIT and infrared rays by a specialist.

*vHIT(video Head Impulse Test)is a test that can evaluate all the left and right semicircular canals by attaching a high-speed camera and an accelerometer sensor. In addition, nystagmus testing with an infrared CCD camera can also check for abnormalities in the inner ear (semicircular canals and otoliths).

The results showed that 0 people had positive vHIT tests, but 6 people had nystagmus in infrared nystagmus tests. There is no major problem with this nystagmus, so I would like to keep an eye on it in the future.

As a consideration, I think that modern children with posture deterioration and inner thigh walking have some kind of problem somewhere in the functional neural network from the lower limbs, trunk to vision, sense of balance, and vestibulocerebellum to the cerebrum.
I would also like to continue my research on the mechanism of improving the inner thighs by actually treating the cervical spine with chiropractic and balancing the entire body.

Thank you to all the parents and children who participated in the morning in the heat. Also, thank you very much to the doctors from the ENT Ear Team at St. Marianna Medical University Hospital!
We will continue our collaborative research with otolaryngology doctors in the future! I will do my best not to lose to the passion of the ear team teachers!
